BAC 167 Strikemaster
The BAC 167 Strikemaster is a British jet-powered, two-seat training and light attack aircraft. It served with the Royal Air Force as well as the air forces of New Zealand, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Ecuador, and more from 1967 to 1993. The Strikemaster was capable of operating from rough airstrips, with dual ejection seats suitable even for low-altitude escape, and it was therefore widely used by third-world nations. Its Rolls-Royce Viper Mk.535 turbojet is capable of pushing the aircraft to speeds over 400kt. A total of 146 Strikemasters in 12 variants were produced from 1967 to 1984.
